ReSURUGA Co., Ltd. has issued corporate bonds to fund the development of WEAZER Unit 2, the next generation of off-grid accommodation.
The bonds have been subscribed by Tokyu Corporation and four leading media companies in Shizuoka Prefecture—Television Shizuoka, Shizuoka Shimbun & Shizuoka Broadcasting System (SBS), Shizuoka Asahi Television, and Shizuoka Daiichi Television.
Formed as a joint venture among Suzuyo Shoji Co., Ltd., Shizuoka Railway Co., Ltd., Toyota United Shizuoka Co., Ltd., and ARTH Inc., ReSURUGA drives carbon-neutral community development throughout the Suruga Bay region.
Beginning in Nishi-Izu, the company is creating a sustainable model for regional revitalization that can expand across Shizuoka and inspire future cities beyond.

As its first flagship project, WEAZER Nishi-Izu (Unit 1) offers panoramic ocean views over Suruga Bay, refined cuisine and service, and the distinctive appeal of a completely off-grid lifestyle.

Following the success of Unit 1, construction of WEAZER Unit 2 is now underway in Nishi-Izu, scheduled to open this autumn as an exclusive single-villa retreat.
Through this new bond issuance, Tokyu Corporation and four major Shizuoka-based media companies have joined the initiative, strengthening cross-industry collaboration toward broader regional revitalization and decarbonized city-building.
Unlike the modular Unit 1, the new property embraces full architectural freedom—a 150 m² residence set within a 1,000 m² site, designed to host only one group per day.
